The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) survey reports have pointed out that the process of plastic surgery is gaining popularity among the teens these days for they want to look as beautiful as the stars. They want all the appreciation and accolades from their friends and folks about there look.

The survey report shows that the trends among the teens are increasing every year. According to the reports about 333,000 people of 18 years of age and younger underwent plastic surgery in 2005, this figure rose up to about 306,000 in the year 2000.

It has been found that a girl underwent plastic surgery to remove her birthmark. The girls undergo laser treatment for lightening the marks. Some of the young guys go for cosmetic surgery to get rid of the excess breast tissues. Girls and guys who are not content with their looks under go dermabasion to reduce the pimple and acne marks from their face. Otoplasty is a kind of surgery done to fix the back of the ear that is sticking out. The breast surgeries are also popular among the teens to achieve the desired size.
